TAYLOR SWIFT STALKER - WITH STRINGS ATTACHED

Police were called to Taylor Swift's Beverly Hills mansion on Saturday afternoon when security guards spotted a strange guy who was looking to make beautiful music with her -- by playing her some songs on his guitar.

TMZ reports that the unidentified man was hoping to string Tay along long enough to have her check out some tunes he'd written, and claiming they'd worked together in the past. When her staff tried to shoo the guy away, he refused to leave -- until cops showed up, at which point he beat a hasty exit.

Late last month, police had to remove an intruder from another of Taylor's properties.

FIRST CHART-TOPPER – GRANGER SMITH

Granger Smith's single "Backroad Song" has taken the #1 spot on the Billboard, Mediabase and Music Row charts this week, giving Smith his first career chart-topper. Reacting to the exciting news, Granger said, "How do I put this into words? Having a #1 song has been a lifelong dream of mine and to achieve this as both a writer and a singer is surreal. It has been a long road, but such a great adventure and I have so many team members to thank for that. I'm feeling pretty blessed right now." "Backroad Song" is the lead single off Smith's forthcoming studio album, Remington, which will be released on March 4. The song was initially released to radio early last year, but was re-released in October via BBR's Wheelhouse Records.

Adding to the excitement, Granger has upcoming national TV appearances on NBC's Today Show on March 8, FOX News Channel's Fox & Friends on March 9 and ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live on March 22, where he'll perform on the outdoor stage.

GRAMMY DISS – BLAKE SHELTON AND LUKE BRYAN

When confronted by paparazzi ahead of last night's (2/15) Grammy AwardsBlake Shelton and Luke Bryan continued to take playful jabs at each other. It all started when TMZ approached Blake over the weekend as he was leaving the fancy Beverly Hills restaurant Mastro's. The paparazzi hounded Shelton with questions as he walked to his car, eventually asking him who he'd like to sit next to at the Grammys.

Blake responded to that question, saying, "Luke Bryan, but he never gets nominated." TMZ then caught up with Bryan, who was at the very same restaurant with his wife, Caroline, the next night on Valentine's Day (2/14). When the paparazzi asked Luke what he thought about Blake's Grammy diss towards him, he
responded saying, "Blake's a terrible person." The paparazzi then told Bryan that it seems like everyone in country music is friends and asked him if he thought that was true.

Luke then sarcastically replied, "Yeah, it seems like it." The videos of their run-ins with the paparazzi can be seen here.

But their jabs towards each other appear to just be in good fun. After the TMZ report, Shelton and Bryan both changed their respective Twitter profile pictures to photos of one another – something they've done several times in the past. Blake changed his Twitter profile picture to a shot of Luke wearing a tooth fairy outfit, and Bryan changed his profile picture to a shot of Shelton from his TMZ encounter.

A BIG WEEK AHEAD - DUSTIN LYNCH

Dustin Lynch is gearing up for a big week. Following a four-night run across the East Coast on his headlining "Hell of a Night Tour," Lynch will make a stop in New York City to appear on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers this Wednesday (2/17). Dustin is set to perform his current Top 20 single "Mind Reader" on the program, which will air at 12:35 AM ET. After making his debut on the late night program, Lynch will then head to Evansville, Indiana, the very next day (2/18) to help Luke Bryan kick off his "2016 Kill The Lights Tour" at the city's Ford Center. Dustin previously toured with Bryan on his "Kick The Dust Up Tour," and he is the only artist Luke has handpicked as an opener for a second time. The tour will also feature special guest Little Big Town. A second leg of the tour featuring LBT and Lynch will kick off in May and wrap up in October.

The D.A. Of The Day - Tuesday Feb. 16

THE SHIRT FITS THE CRIME:

Another day, another criminal arrested wearing an appropriate shirt.
30-year-old Aaron Crowe of Indiana was arrested on Valentine's Day for allegedly punching his wife in the face during an argument. Cops arrested him at a motel room, where he was found wearing a T-shirt that read, "I did not hit you, I high-fived your face." His warped sense of humor and sense of style were not met with laughter, however, as cops charged him with domestic battery.

HOLY TOLEDO! THAT'S A GREAT PRICE:

Drivers in Toledo, Ohio must have thought they were in a time warp on Sunday when gas at a local station was rolled back to 1960s prices.

A computer glitch at a Pilot gas station caused prices to fall to 49 cents per gallon. And if you think that's great, wait! Two hours later, the glitch dropped prices even more, to only 19 cents per gallon. Drivers wondered what was going on but didn't really care once they saw that they could fill up their tank for just a few bucks.

Another gas station across the street was forced to drop its prices to 17 cents just to compete. The glitch kept the price down for three hours before it was fixed and returned to its regular price of $1.51.

STICK A FORK IN HER..

A Florida woman wanted to send a clear "fork off" message after a fellow patron at an all-you-can eat buffet told her to stop cursing -- so she ran across the restaurant and tried to stab her with a dinner fork.

Davina Renee Cutchall was charged with aggravated assault on Thursday after the incident, which started when the victim asked that she stop using such sharp language in front of her children. According to a police report, Cutchall began waving the fork threateningly, then threw a large soda pop in the face of a stranger who tried to step between the women.

After Cutchall lunged at the victim with her fork, the unnamed woman doused her with a bowl of ketchup, at which point Cutchall fled. Cops caught up with her at a bus stop outside the eatery and charged her with assault.

THIS iPHONE PRANK COULD KILL YOUR PHONE

If you own an iPhone be on the lookout for the latest digital prank making the rounds which could turn your device into a very expensive paper weight.

You may see a post that looks something like an ad from Apple itself, telling you there's an "easter egg" or hidden feature that allows you to "relive the magic" of the past by setting your phone back in time to January 1, 1970.
However, if you change the date to the start of 1970 for any iPhone that is a 5s and up, your phone will be "bricked," or unable to be rebooted. Other iOS devices that are affected are iPad Air or above, iPad mini 2, and the sixth generation iPod touch, ZDNet reports.
Here's the message to watch out for:

Apple posted a statement on its website today warning consumers, "Manually changing the date to May 1970 or earlier can prevent your iOS device from turning on after a restart." The company says it is working on a fix. "An upcoming software update will prevent this issue from affecting iOS devices," Apple announced. "If you have this issue, contact Apple Support."

ALEC BALDWIN:FANTASIZED ABOUT KILLING TMZ BOSS

In 2007, TMZ shared the now infamous voice mail of a heated Alec Baldwin calling his 11-year-old daughter Ireland a “rude, thoughtless little pig.” It's fair to say that almost nine years later, Baldwin is still pretty steamed about it.

In an interview with The New Yorker, which has a lengthy investigative piece about TMZ, Baldwin says he used to fantasize about killing TMZ founder Harvey Levin. He says, "There was a time when my greatest wish was to stab Harvey Levin with a rusty implement and watch his entrails go running down my forearm.

I wanted him to die in my arms, while looking into my eyes, and I wanted to say to him, ‘Oh, Harvey, you thoughtless little pig.'"
Baldwin goes on to call Levin, "a festering boil on the anus of American media.”

TWIN PEAKS RE-BOOT ADDS EVEN MORE STAR POWER

Ashley Judd has joined the cast of the new Twin Peaks series coming to Showtime. She joins Kyle MacLachlan, Sherilyn Fenn, Amanda Seyfried, Laura Dern and Jennifer Jason Leigh in the revival, which will air in 2017.

GILLIAN ANDERSON SAYS NO BOTOX:

Gillian Anderson refutes the possibility that she is using Botox.
The actress reacted to “The Daily Mail’s” suggestion that she had work done to her forehead, eyes, neck, cheeks, nose, lips and chin. Anderson denied using Botox anywhere, and tweeted a photo with the captain, “This is how I really look!”
On another note, Anderson did admit that it was hard for her to pick up with her character of Scully in “The X-Files” new mini series.
"I struggled in the first week. I was trying to find the Scully of the past, rather than accepting time had passed,” she explained. “She and Mulder aren't together and she's carved out a world for herself, in medicine, working with a particular disease, with children, assisting surgeons,"
"You get the sense that she goes to work, she goes to her apartment, and that's her life. There is something missing and, of course, the thing that's missing is Mulder."

THE D.A. OF THE DAY - MONDAY FEB. 15TH

PEOPLE OF WAL-MART STRIKE AGAIN:

It seems that bizarre behavior has a stage, and it's called Walmart.
Police in Clarksville Tennessee arrested a man who was seen urinating on the floor at a Walmart store and then trying to stuff a package of trout into his pants. Police were called to the store after an employee watched 56-year-old David Wylie expose himself and pee on the floor near the alcohol aisle. He was then seen shoving the fish down his pants and trying to leave without paying.

When officers arrived, Wylie, who appeared to be drunk, admitted to peeing on the floor but said he didn't care because he knows it's only a misdemeanor. He also admitted to having some drinks, which is probably why he couldn't make it to a bathroom.
Wylie was arrested and charged with shoplifting, vandalism, indecent exposure and public intoxication.

DRIVER TEXTS AND HITS COP

A Canadian woman slammed her vehicle into a police car, and cops have her confession right on her cellphone.
The collision occurred in a busy intersection in Victoria, British Columbia and police suspected that the driver may have been texting at the time. The woman's attempt to deny the charge was futile as the officer looked at her phone and saw a text she had sent, which read, "I just got into an accident, OMG. I was trying to txt u. Ran into a cop car. OMGGG."
The driver and her child were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries. The officer was unharmed and issued a $167 fine for driving while texting.
