CHRIS YOUNG: Not Going Into the Wine Business Anytime Soon

Chris Young admitted he’s become a major snob about his wine. But don’t expect him to get into the wine business anytime soon.

Chris has seen how much work Kix Brooks put into Arrington Vineyards and believes launching a new wine or liquor business wouldn’t be the best move right now.

WEIRD NEWS: You Want a Pizza Me?

A Massachusetts woman got a little too saucy during an argument over a pizza -- and ended up hitting an 11-year-old in the face with a metal sign she'd thrown at a restaurant worker.

Iesha Davis reportedly phoned in an order while sitting in the parking lot of the Framingham Sub Shop, but then went in a few minutes later to demand that the guy behind the counter throw some chicken on the pie for free. When Davis was told she could add the extra topping for a fee, she started screaming and pointing at a sign advertising a $17.99 deal -- which didn't include "deluxe toppings."

At that point, Davis flipped out and flipped the offending sign, opening up a cut on the face of the girl, who's the daughter of the employee who'd nixed the chicken. A judge has ordered Davis to stay away from the girl and the restaurant.

WEIRD NEWS: Bench Presser
Photo: Lake County Jail

A Florida man has a lot of people saying he should get the chair -- for assaulting an elderly woman because she wouldn't move from a city park chair that he claimed he'd "reserved."

Bruce Benard allegedly walked up to the 72-year-old stranger in Spanish Springs Town Square and confronted her about sitting in seats he had reserved for his friends and family. He demanded that she move before threatening to throw her off the chair -- and when she didn't respond quickly enough, he grabbed her wrist and twisted it, then stomped "very hard" on her foot.

When police arrived at the scene to take statements, Benard admitted he'd grabbed the woman, saying, “she should have moved and I have a right to stand up for myself and stand my ground.” He was booked on assault charges and released on $1000 bond.

WEIRD NEWS: One-Star Reviewer Drops a Deuce?

The owner of a restaurant in Washington, D.C. didn't just hold his nose and accept a crappy Yelp review -- he fired back, accusing the writer of pooping her pants in the middle of his eatery.

A Yelper named Emma C. offered up a scathing one-star critique of Nick's Riverside Grill, saying she'd been given the "worst service ever" and then overcharged by a rude bartender who charged her for multiple drinks, when she had just one happy hour cocktail. Not surprisingly, that generated a response from ownership, but not an apology.

Instead, the reply accused Emma of causing a real stink at the place -- by soiling herself and throwing away the stained undies before leaving the premises. He wrote, "You lost control of your bowels in the middle of our restaurant, and you proceeded to sit in it for the remainder of the evening. We had to reroute our other patrons so they didn't walk through your mess. You then proceeded to throw your underwear away in our trash can, and our poor manager working that night was left to clean up your feces."

JOHNNY DEPP: Selling Off Art Collection

Johnny Depp is in a nasty legal battle with his wife Amber Heard that will likely cost him millions. So it should help that he's about to pad his bank account by auctioning off his multi-million dollar Jean-Michel Basquiat art collection.

Depp will sell off his collection later this month at Christie's auction house in London. The nine paintings and drawings are from the early 1980s and Depp collected them all over the past 25 years. He had been in talks with Christie's about selling off the works since the beginning of the year.

JARED FOGLE: Request for Less Time Denied

Jared Fogle will have to serve his entire 15-year prison sentence after a judge denied his appeal and request to have it shortened.

The disgraced former Subway pitchman said that 15 years behind bars is too harsh for sharing child porn only once. He argued that he didn't widely distribute the material or act out any of his sexual fantasies with minors. The appeals judge disagreed and ruled that the possession of child porn and his obsession with having sex with minors warranted the full sentence.

NASHVILLE: To Live On

The TV show Nashville will live on.

CMT has picked up the drama for a fifth season under the contingency that the city, convention and visitors bureau, and Ryman Hospitality chip in for production costs.

The show, which was cancelled by ABC last month, pumps millions into the city's economy and employs locals for production jobs.

Nashville will air on CMT and Hulu.

PASSION OF THE CHRIST: Sequel In the Works

Mel Gibson is resurrecting The Passion of the Christ and reportedly working on a sequel.

Screenwriter Randall Wallace (Braveheart) has confirmed he and Gibson are working on a follow-up to the 2004 film which became the most successful independent movie ever, earning more than $600-million dollars. The Passion of the Christ addressed Jesus's final days and the sequel is expected to focus on his resurrection.

Loretta Lynn has postponed her upcoming shows this weekend as she mourns the loss of her grandson, Jeffrey Allen Lynn, who died on Monday. He was 47.

DOLLY PARTON: Auctioning Vow Renewal Photos
Parton

Photos from Dolly Parton's 50th anniversary vow renewal with her husband Carl Dean will be sold to the highest bidder -- and the proceeds will benefit children's charities.

She says, "If I had it to do all over, I'd do it all over again, and we did. I'm dragging him kicking and screaming into the next 50 years. Wish us luck. In all honesty, the only way I was able to get Carl to do any of this in the first place was that it was a great opportunity for us to raise money for some very worthy causes."

The photos are significant because fans will get to see what the rarely photographed Carl looks like. He also agreed to an interview that will appear with the pictures.

Dolly and Carl were married on May 30th, 1966.

KACEY MUSGRAVES: Christmas in June?

Kacey Musgraves's next album will be quite a departure for her.

She posted a photo of herself on Instagram decked out in red and green with the caption, "It might be June, but we're gettin' festive! Be expecting a very special Christmas record for all you little elves comin' out just in time to stuff your stockings! Put it on your lists! That's all for now!"

No word on what songs will be on the record or a release date.

BLAKE SHELTON: Filming New Video at Miranda's Old Store?

The spies are out in Blake Shelton's hometown Tishomingo, Oklahoma, where it appears that Blake has been shooting a video.

A super fan posted a picture on her Instagram of a couple of buses and trucks parked outside of the former Pink Pistol, once owned byMiranda Lambert and recently purchased by Blake. Then video director Adam Rothlein posted a shot on his Instagram of him and Blake with the caption, "That's a wrap #blakeshelton #musicvideo Great time with such an awesome guy and his team of great folks!"

Now the question is: Which song is the clip for -- "Savior's Shadow" or "She's Got a Way With Words"?

WEIRD NEWS: If The Chopper's Rockin', Don't Come a-Knockin'

Two British cops could be on the chopping block after they used a departmental chopper to do some very personal surveillance -- by filming people getting busy in their own homes or backyards.

Matthew Lucas and Lee Walls are the two active officers who've been fingered in the investigation of a long-running plot that focused on their efforts to "observe and record a naked person without her knowledge and consent." They were arrested in early May following reports of a police helicopter being used for nefarious means between 2007 and 2012.

Both deputies have insisted they had nothing to do with making the aerial sex tapes, but both have been suspended pending a trial.

WEIRD NEWS: Drunk Goes Off the Deep End

A wasted hotel guest was arrested at a Florida resort after she poured a bottle of vodka over the head of a seven-year-old boy who was splashing around in the swimming pool.

33-year-old Roseanna Marie Kiser of North Carolina was vacationing at a resort in Clearwater, Florida and sitting poolside with a bottle of vodka. Some kids were playing in the pool and splashed some water near Kiser, who was drinking straight from the bottle, as classy people do. She did not appreciate the kids' antics, got up from her chair and poured her bottle of vodka all over the boy's head, face and eyes. She then allegedly grabbed the boy by the chest and pushed him further into the pool.

Police were called and caught up to Kiser in her hotel room, where she resisted arrest and kicked one officer in the groin. She's been charged with child abuse and battery on a law enforcement officer. There's no word on whether the boy sustained any injuries.

WEIRD NEWS: Cemetery Flasher Causes Grave Concerns

Police in England are looking for a naked creeper who's been hanging around a cemetery at night flashing his goods.

Cops have grave concerns about the serial flasher who roams around the local cemetery trying to get noticed by women. He was most recently spotted last week by a woman who claims it was the third time she's seen him. She says, "There’s something very strange about him. He’s very creepy, and he looks back at you to make sure you are looking." Police keep responding to the scene but the man is always gone by the time they get there. They say he wears a black hooded jacket and nothing else.

WEIRD NEWS: Drunk Mom Really Blows It

An Oklahoma woman blew cops away with the stupidity she showed -- by getting her kids to blow into the breathalyzer lock on her car so she could drive around while drunk.

Kayla Kathleen Martin-Weliwita was arrested after deputies were called to investigate a disturbance at a Buffalo Wild Wings, where she was spotted fighting with her 13-year-old daughter in the parking lot. The 36-year-old, who reportedly smelled strongly of alcohol, says the fight started when her two daughters tried to run away from her at the eatery -- but the kids both insisted that their mom was to blame, because she tried to talk them into helping her drive drunk.

The girls said that their mom was wasted and couldn't start her car, which is equipped with an ignition lock because of previous drunk driving arrests, so she wanted them to blow untainted air to start the engine.

She probably shouldn't hold her breath waiting to get her license back.

JUSTIN BIEBER: Slam-Dunked at NBA Finals

Justin Bieber blew into Cleveland to take in game three of the NBA Finals on Wednesday, and things quickly blew up -- when he got into a short-but-not-so-sweet fistfight outside his hotel.

TMZ captured some grainy footage of the Bieb starting a verbal dispute with a much bigger dude, then flipping out when the guy tossed a playful punch at him. Justin let loose with a hard right that didn't seem to have much effect on the bodyguard-sized stranger, who quickly knocked the singer to the ground.

The whole thing lasted less than a minute, but Bieber clearly lost this one by TKO. Here's the video

BRISTOL PALIN: Just Married

Bristol Palin and Dakota Meyer have done more than just rekindle their romance -- they've actually tied the knot.

The couple, who share a five-month-old daughter named Sailor Grace, were previously engaged in 2015 but split up days before the wedding. From then on their relationship was on-again, off-again and they recently decided to elope. Palin told Entertainment Tonight, "Life is full of ups and downs but in the end, you'll end up where you're supposed to be. We are so happy to share with loved ones the wonderful news that we got married!"

RICHARD SIMMONS: Not Transitioning Into a Woman

Richard Simmons won't be following in the footsteps of Caitlyn Jenner.

Despite a report that the fitness guru was transitioning into a woman, his rep Tom Estey tells People magazine the story is "not true." He explains that Richard "has decided to live quietly the last few years. He had knee surgery a few years ago and has a bum knee. He is still on Twitter and Facebook and works behind the scenes continuing to inspire and motivate people to lose weight. When he decides to come back, he will come back."

This comes on the heels of Richard spending a few days in the hospital after reportedly exhibiting "bizarre" behavior.

DAVID LETTERMAN: "Couldn’t Care Less" About Late-Night Television

David Letterman says he “couldn’t care less” about late-night TV -- including his Late Show replacement, Stephen Colbert.

In a rare interview with NBC News, Tom Brokaw asked Dave if he missed being on CBS every night. He said, “You know, I don’t. And it’s interesting. I thought for sure I would. And then, the first day of Stephen's show, when he went on the air, an energy left me and I felt like, ‘You know, that’s not my problem anymore.’ And I’ve kind of felt that way ever since. I devoted so much time to the damage of other aspects of my life. The concentrated, fixated, focusing on that… It’s good now to not have that. I couldn’t care less about late-night television."

As for his replacement, Dave said he thought CBS gave the job to the wrong person. "There should be more women. And I don’t know why they didn’t give my show to a woman. That would have been fine."

The interview airs on On Assignment, a limited series from Dateline NBC, Sunday at 7 p.m.

Miranda says, "We’re just going to try and bring awareness and get these dogs adopted. Luckily they are chihuahuas and everybody wants a cute little dog. I’m really glad that they caught them in time. It’s so sad. WEIRD NEWS: Teen Steals Pot, Gets Burnt Out

A Florida mother is under arrest for child abuse after she deliberately burned her teenage son's hands as punishment for stealing her weed.

Zayma Flores went crazy after her husband told her that her 15-year-old son had found her stash hidden under a bathroom sink and sold it to a friend.

She grabbed the boy and placed his hands on the stove, causing burns to his palms. Flores was arrested for child abuse and ordered to stay away from her son, who is now living with a relative.

The son told police he thought the pot belonged to his sister and he got rid of it so that she wouldn't smoke it.

WEIRD NEWS: College Student Gets Trashed -- Literally

A college student in Georgia recently gave new meaning to the term trashed.

Police say 22-year-old University of Georgia student Benjamin Abele was running naked in the street at 2:30 a.m. Officers say they then saw him dive into the back of a garbage truck. When cops approached the truck and tried to get him out, he burrowed deep into the trash and a grimy liquid that had leaked out of some of the bags.

The officer could tell by the dazed looked on his face and his dilated eyes that he was high on PCP. After getting one handcuff on the student's wrist, the officer tried to pull him out of the trash but was kicked. That's when he used a taser, but it failed to stop the kid. More officers joined the fray, and were able to pull him out and throw him on the ground, where he had to be tased again.

Abele was taken into custody and arrested for obstruction of a law enforcement officer and public indecency.

WEIRD NEWS: A Whale of a Jail Fail

North Carolina cops decided not to take a bite out of crime by refusing to arrest a guy who staged a bank robbery just so he could go to jail for a bite to eat.

Mark Glenn Foster walked into a SunTrust Bank in Durham and handed a teller a note demanding money, but since he appeared to be unarmed, the clerk just pressed an alarm button and didn't hand over a cent. Foster took the denial in stride and went to the customer service area to wait for cops -- who recognized him from a run-in last year, when he'd done the exact same thing.

Last time around, Foster admitted he simply wanted to go to jail so he could have three square meals a day, but a judge refused to grant that wish, sentencing him to a year's probation for the non-violent crime. On Wednesday, officers didn't even bother booking the 56-year-old, and simply took him in for a mental health evaluation.

WEIRD NEWS: Dude, Where's My Pants?

A Canadian man gave new meaning to the term "bottomless drink special" when he wandered home from a boozy bender without his trousers -- and then took to social media for help finding them.

Andy Gaudry had traveled to Nova Scotia for his grandmother's 80th birthday celebration and ended up hitting the town with some cousins, who encouraged him to have a few belts -- and eventually lose his belt. Gaudry admitted he had no idea where the party had stopped over the course of the evening, other than "wherever all the bars are."

Gaudry asked staff at his hotel to review lobby surveillance tape, which he says showed "I did indeed have no pants on coming into the hotel -- so I was roaming around the hotel with no pants on." He made a plea for help on Reddit, and was stunned a day later when someone dropped the trousers with a clerk.

So the story of The Brotherhood of the Traveling Pants has a happy ending after all.

Ellen DeGeneres: Sued For Joke About Woman's Name

What a boob! Ellen DeGeneres is being sued for joking about a woman's name on her talk show.

In a segment called "What's Wrong With These Signs?" Ellen showed a sign advertising a real estate broker named Titi [pr: tee-tee]Pierce. Ellen poked fun at the name for sounding like another word for "breasts," but Titi says the comedian has it wrong. It's pronounced "Tee Tee" and now she's suing for defamation and invasion of privacy.

According to the complaint, the bit led to “immediate ridicule” and since her phone number on the sign wasn't blocked, she got “ridiculing and harassing” calls while attending a family funeral. She says Titi [pr: tee-tee] is a Nigerian name that means "flower" and that she has “strong, positive” feelings about the moniker.

Pierce is seeking damages and for the segment to never be aired again.

CHEWBACCA MOM: MADE SOME SERIOUS CASH...

You may want to get cracking on a viral video. Chewbacca mom Candace Payne has reportedly made nearly half a million dollars with her popular clip.

Kohls is benefiting too. The mask sold out right away.

D.A. OF THE DAY - TUESDAY JUNE 7TH

MONKEY SOUGHT IN JEWELRY STORE HEIST:

The search is on in India for a monkey with sticky fingers who got away with cash from a jewelry store.

A surveillance camera captured the moment a little primate opened the door and walked into the shop. It then headed straight for the checkout counter, made sure no one was looking and opened up a drawer of cash. He swiped a stack of bills -- about $144-worth -- and ran out of the store with the shop owner in pursuit.

Workers say this was the second time the monkey showed up at the store, but the first time around, it didn't go inside. He was likely just casing the joint and planning his heist.

COLLARED GREENS:

Police in Florida made a very healthy arrest over the weekend when a man was caught stealing kale and other salad items from a Walmart store.

Cops say 33-year-old Shane Stahl was collared as he tried to walk out of the store with a shopping cart full of veggies he had not paid for. The health-conscious crook had kale, croutons and other items to make a salad. He's been charged with theft, but on the bright side, he's healthy and gets a lot of vitamins A, C and K.

HORNY DEVIL:

We're often taught not to judge a book by its cover, but when this "book" eventually walks into a courtroom to face assault charges, it's going to be very hard for the judge to see anything but the cover.

Juan Vargas Rodriguez is a 53-year-old Arizona man with horns in his head. He allegedly slashed his wife with a knife after accusing her of cheating on him. Fortunately his adult daughter was able to separate him from his wife before he could cause more severe injuries. Rodriguez says he doesn't remember the attack because he "kind of blacked out with rage." He was arrested and booked for aggravated assault, which is when this frightening mugshot was taken showing off the subdermal horn implants in his head.
