Cops in a small German town thought they were going nuts when they got a 911 call from a man who said he needed protection because he was being harassed -- by a tiny squirrel.
Their dispatcher, believing every report should be taken seriously, sent a patrol car to the site where the man reported the issue, and sure enough, a bushy-tailed bad boy was after the dude. But right as the cop car pulled up, the rodent pulled over, laid down and opted to take a quick nap.
Wildlife officers say the baby animal had probably been separated from its mother and was looking to the man in search of a replacement parent and home.
