Erin Andrews, the Fox Sports reporter and Dancing With the Stars co-host will be in court today as the trial begins in her $75 million lawsuit against a Marriott hotel in Nashville.
The lawsuit stems from the 2008 peeping Tom incident when Michael David Barrett booked the rooms next to Andrews and then used a camera to film her nude through the door's peephole. He later tried to sell the footage to TMZ and other websites. Andrews claims the hotel made it too easy for Barrett to do it and told him what room she was staying in. The trial is expected to last about two weeks.
CHARLIE SHEEN: SAVING LIVES
Charlie Sheen is saving lives.
According to a study from San Diego State University, Charlie's revelation that he's had HIV since 2011 has helped to spread awareness about the disease. His Today show announcement reportedly led to the largest number of HIV-related Google searches in more than a decade. The researchers also say that on that day there were more than 6,500 news stories on Google News related to the disease.
The researchers, who are dubbing it the "Charlie Sheen effect," say, "Just as with celebrities Rock Hudson's and Magic Johnson's disclosures of their HIV-positive status, Sheen's disclosure may be similarly reinvigorating awareness and prevention of HIV."
SHIA LABEOUF: SLAPS FAN IN ELEVATOR
Shia LaBeouf's latest performance art piece got a bit physical Friday -- he slapped a fan in the face.
The actor spent 24 hours in an Oxford University elevator in England, where he invited fans to spend a few minutes talking with him.
The project, which went by the hashtag #ELEVATE, was broadcast via a YouTube livestream. But things got awkward when a freshman asked Shia to punch him in the face. The star didn't want to do it, but the student, who claimed to be a fellow performance artist, insisted. Shia finally agreed to deliver a slap.
Afterwards, the student told the student newspaper that he made the unusual request because he thought Shia might be "bored."

The clearance sale, which kicks off on eBay on March 1st, will feature racks and racks of goodies from Chanel, Prada, Valentino, Manolo Blahnik and Badgley Mischka. Oprah promises that she wore every single item at one time or another over the past few years.
All proceeds from the auction will go to the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, her school in South Africa.
