Billy Ray Cyrus: Heading For Kentucky HOF:
Billy Ray Cyrus will be inducted into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame next year.
Billy will be in good company: Loretta Lynn, Bill Monroe, Florence Henderson, Rosemary Clooney and The Judds are all members.
The hall honors Kentucky-born performers, songwriters, publishers, promoters, managers and other music professionals who have made significant contributions to the music industry locally and around the world.
The ceremony will take place May 11th, 2018 at the Center for Rural Development in Somerset, Kentucky.
John Mayer - Pays Tribute To Glen Campbell:
Last night (Tuesday), John Mayer took the stage at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, just a few hours after hearing of the passing of one of his idols, Glen Campbell, and the pop superstar surprised fans with an incredible rendition of "Gentle on My Mind."
Mayer prefaced the performance by saying, "I'm going to play this song with more love than precision," he said. "And I play it because it's my favorite song in the world."
CMT: SET TO PAY TRIBUTE TO GLEN CAMPBELL
CMT will pay tribute to the life and music of Glen Campbell on Thursday.
CMT Remembers Glen Campbell will feature tributes from Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and Reba McEntire, as well as interviews, performances and footage from The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour with Johnny Cash, John Wayne, Carol Burnett, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings.
CMT Remembers Glen Campbell premieres Thursday at 7:30 a.m. CST with an encore broadcast on Friday at 6 p.m. CST and Saturday at 7:30 a.m. CST.
