BORED AT WORK - SUE YOUR EMPLOYER
The next time you find yourself bored at work, just think about what this Frenchman did.
44-year-old Frederic Desnard filed a lawsuit against the perfume company he used to work for because the job lacked meaningful tasks and was too boring. He's seeking $415,000 in damages for being "killed professionally through boredom." He claims to have suffered a "bore-out," which has resulted in a decline in his mental health, and even suffered a seizure as a result. His former employer says Desnard never mentioned these issues while he worked there.
A judge is expected to rule on the case next month.
BAD GUYS STEAL GOOD BOOKS:
The Good Book says "thou shalt not steal," and a couple of thieves could read all about that in $500 worth of Bibles they stole from a Christian book store in Massachusetts.
Police in West Springfield say two thieves walked into the store and stole eight Bibles, each one costing $60. The two men were captured on surveillance camera and police have released the footage. They're asking the public for help in identifying the sacred swindlers.
