JON GOSSELIN: Working at TGIF for a Friend

Jon Gosselin works at TGI Friday's these days -- but it's not what you think.

The former reality star says he hasn't fallen on hard times. He's just helping out a friend. Kate Gosselin's ex tells E! News, "I took the job at Friday's because my friend needed help in the kitchen for the sauté line. I've always been passionate about cooking, and I ended up donating that paycheck to various children's charities in my area."

Jon & Kate Plus 8 star says he continues to pursue a career as a DJ, but still plans on working at the Friday's whenever his "professional schedule allows." Why does he do it? Jon explains, "For the first time in a long time, it was a job that I had that wasn't about what was good for Jon. I was helping someone else and it felt good."

CAITLYN JENNER: Wants to "Help the Republican Party"

Caitlyn Jenner says she wants to “help the Republican Party” better understand LGBT issues.

The reality star spoke at an LGBT-themed event at the RNC today (Wednesday) and said, “It was easy to come out as trans. It was harder for me to come out as Republican.”

Though she's a lifelong Republican, Caitlyn says she’s been “disappointed” with the party’s platform in recent years. “I think our best move to get back to a constitutional government is in the Republican party," she says. "I won’t give up hope on it.”

Last month, Caitlyn insisted Donald Trump was “very much” for women and the LGBT community. Still, there are no plans for her to give a speech at the RNC.
