Jim Carrey left a waitress a $225.00 tip during an evening out in New York City.
The 53-year-old actor enjoyed a delicious meal at Chester restaurant at the Gansevoort Hotel in the Meatpacking District, which is a “vibrant bar” that serves “traditional American food” according to its website, and made his server’s night when he topped up their wages with the eye-watering sum of cash, reported the New York Post.


The big-hearted star dined with friends and the group were said to be in “good” spirits when they ordered sparkling water, a bottle of ­pinot noir wine, lemon chicken and a quinoa dish from the tantalising menu.
A source said, “Everyone seemed to be in a good mood."

HARRISON FORD: ROOKIE COP MAKES BIG MISTAKE - LEADS TO ARREST

 

Harrison Ford has been cleared of any wrongdoing by the Huntington Beach, California Police Department. 

Last week, the 73-year-old actor's name appeared on the department's online arrest log with the charge of "inflicting corporal punishment on a spouse" and "possession of a controlled substance." But it wasn't true and Ford was actually out of the country at the time. The police department now explains that it was a mistake made by a rookie cop who was being trained in data entry.

Officers in training often use fake names when learning how to enter arrest information into their system, but they're supposed to delete it immediately. The officer chose the Harrison Ford but forgot to delete it.
