Twang Town Lowdown - Tuesday December 1st

Miranda Lambert admits she's had some lonely nights since her divorce from Blake Shelton, and there's probably more of that to come.

But she also knows that that's part of the process of getting through the tough times. She tells Cosmopolitan, "It's about living in the moment and feeling every tinge of pain, then waking up the next day and going, 'All right, I'm going to ride my ponies. I'm going to have a girls' night.' That's where I am. That's where I'm gonna live."

'Ran has some great stuff up ahead. On December 12th, she'll accept the Nashville Symphony's Harmony Award for her contributions to the city's music community.

The cast of the TV show Nashville will be given the first-ever International Impact Award during the 2015 CMT Artists of the Year ceremony on Wednesday.

The stars of the show are credited with being ambassadors of country music, as well as the city itself. Since the show began airing, Music City has become even more of a tourist mecca than it had been in the past.

The 2015 Artists of the Year special airs 7 p.m. from Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
