DEREK HOUGH REPRISING ROLE ON “NASHVILLE”

 

 According to Eonline.com, Derek Hough will reprise his role as Noah West on this season’s “Nashville” over ABC.

Hough portrayed West, who is Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) leading man in the movie she was making about the late country singer Patsy Cline, who was killed in an airplane crash in 1963.

No announcement has been made as to when Hough will return to “Nashville,” but Eonline.com reports that he will make several appearances on the show. Panettiere has been off the show since mid-season last year, and is expected to return to the show sometime around mid-season this year.  She underwent treatment for postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter, Kaya, with her boyfriend, boxer Wladimir Klitschko.

Hough is starring in the Broadway production of “Singin’ In The Rain.”

“Nashville” is in its fourth season over ABC on Wednesdays at 9 p.m.

JON STEWART SAVES A BULL

 

Jon Stewart has helped to save a bull who escaped from a slaughterhouse in Queens, New York. After the animal was caught by police, the former Daily Show host and his wife, Tracey, took it to an upstate animal sanctuary. Jon recently opened his own animal sanctuary in New Jersey.

STAR WARS: NOT JUST BIG AT THE BOX OFFICE

 

Star Wars: The Force Awakens hasn't only had an impact on the box office. It's having an impact on baby names. According to BabyCenter.com, the popularity of the name Kylo has risen 67 percent since last year, while Rey has jumped up 82 percent.
