J.K ROWLING: POTTER AUTHOR'S CHAIR SELLS AT AUCTION FOR $394 THOUSAND

The chair that author J.K. Rowling sat in while writing the first two Harry Potter books was sold at an auction Wednesday in New York for $394,000 by an anonymous buyer.

Rowling says she sat in the dining room chair while she typed Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. She initially auctioned off the chair in 2002 for $21,000 which went to charity. The chair was then sold again in 2009 on eBay for $29,000. That buyer, Gerald Gray, says he plans to donate 10% of Wednesday's sale to Rowling's Lumos charity which benefits kids living in orphanages.

CHARLIE SHEEN: ALLEGEDLY HAD A HIT ON EX

Charlie Sheen is under felony investigation for allegedly threatening to have one of his ex-fiancee's killed.

The probe began after Radar Online claimed to have a 35-minute audio tape of Charlie allegedly saying he'd pay "20 grand to have Brett Rossi's head kicked in." Brett -- who was engaged to Charlie in 2014 -- saw the report and reported it to the police.
Charlie was allegedly angry with Brett for claiming he hid his HIV diagnosis even though they were having unprotected sex.

On Tuesday investigators served a search warrant on Radar for the recording, which was recorded by another of Charlie's exes.

Charlie's lawyer Marty Singer tells the New York Daily News, “This is a publicity stunt... I believe it is the first time someone obtained an order based on a story in a tabloid.”

IVANKA TRUMP: FEELS THE BURN...

Ivanka Trump's line of fashionable scarves is being recalled by the the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission over a burn risk.

The scarves are manufactured in China, despite her father Donald Trump's call to prevent companies from moving their manufacturing outside the country, and have failed to meet fire safety standards required for clothing. Consumers can return the scarves to the place they purchased them for a full refund.
