THE HOTLIST - PRESENTED BY TWIN LAKES - 1/13/16

NFL: Rams Headed To Los Angles; Chargers Have Option to Join

NFL owners voted to allow the St. Louis Rams to move to a new stadium just outside Los Angeles, and the San Diego Chargers will have the option to share the facility.  The Oakland Raiders, who also wanted to move to the area, could move to Los Angeles if San Diego doesn’t, commissioner Roger Goodell said.  The moves end the NFL’s 21 year absence from the nation’s second largest media market.  The Chargers can continue to negotiate with San Diego for a new stadium deal while keeping the option of joining the Rams and owner Stan Kroenke at the $1.8 billion dollar complex they will be building in Inglewood.  The Rams, who were based in the L.A. area from 1946 to 1994, will play in a temporary facility – probably the Los Angeles Coliseum – until the new stadium is ready for the 2019 season.  The league will give $100 million dollars to the Chargers and the Raiders if either team builds a new stadium in its current market.

IF YOU LISTEN CLOSELY YOU CAN HEAR THE SOUND OF HEARTS BREAKING:

If you are the parent of a pre-teen or teenage girl you may want to brace yourself as life after One Direction begins.. Last March the group decided to "take a bit of a break" which in the music world usually translates into we are breaking up...for good. Well that is exactly what is being reported today - the band has no intentions of getting back together. But all isn't lost for fans of the group, they can look forward to each of the fellas launching a solo career in the near future.

STAR WARS: MILES TELLER, DAVE FRANCO UP FOR HAN SOLO ROLE

Thousands of actors have auditioned to play the young Han Solo in a new Star Wars spinoff, and now the producers have narrowed the field down to about a dozen actors.
Sources tell Variety that the front-runners are Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort, Dave Franco, Scott Eastwood and Logan Lerman. A decision is expected in the next couple of weeks.

Though the Han Solo flick doesn't come up until 2018, it's believed that producers want to sign up an actor early so he can appear in another Star Wars spin-off, Rogue One, which comes out at the end of this year.
