ADAM LAMBERT JOINS FOX’S ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW

Adam Lambert has been added to the cast of Fox’s upcoming “Rocky Horror Picture Show.” He will portray Eddie, the ex-delivery boy who loves rock ‘n roll and who crashes the party at Dr. Frank-N-Furter’s eerie home.

The musical was released in 1975 and went on to become a cult classic.

“I grew up watching “Rocky Horror,” but could never imagine that I would be part of this new vision,” Lambert told “People.” The movie always made me feel like it was okay to celebrate my weirdness. Hallelujah, bless my soul!  I love that old time rock-n-roll!”

Originally Lambert was one of the actors being considered for the Frank-N-Furter role, but it went to Laverne Cox of the popular “Orange Is The New Black.”

Fox’s two-hour “Rocky Horror Picture Show” will air this fall.

As early as last year, the singer told “USA Today” that she was preparing for her husband’s death.
