The D.A. Of The Day - Wednesday, April 13th

NO GOOD DEED...

A drive-thru employee at a Sonic fast-food restaurant in Oklahoma City gave a customer a free burger and was thanked for it with a knuckle sandwich.

28-year-old Briana Lee tried to pay for her food with a credit card, but it was declined. After explaining that she had no cash on her, the restaurant worker let her go without paying.

But instead of showing gratitude for the generous act, she summoned the worker outside and sprayed her with mace. She knocked the woman to the ground, kicked her in the ribs and stole her apron, which contained cash.

Lee got back in her car and sped off, but police were able to catch up to her a short while later. She was arrested and charged with assault and battery and robbery. The worker was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

BIRDBRAIN SHOVES FACE IN RAW CHICKEN:

The cleanliness and safety of a chicken wings restaurant in Colorado is being called into question after a video surfaced showing an employee shoving her face into a tray of raw chicken.

Employees at Wingstop in Thornton, Colorado are heard laughing and screaming as their co-worker accepts a dare and face-dives into the raw meat. The video, which has since been taken down, surfaced online thanks to a customer at the restaurant who witnessed the disgusting act and reported it to a local TV news station. The restaurant has never had any health code violations and the manager insists that the chicken was never served to customers. He said the employee showed poor judgement when she shoved her beak in the chicken but stopped short of mentioning whether or not the employee will be fired.

DEAD RINGER:

Police in Odessa, have arrested a woman suspected of sneaking into a funeral home, walking up to a dead woman's body in an open casket, and then she stole a ring off her finger.

Surveillance cameras captured the whole ghastly crime. The video shows a woman walking into the room and reaching inside a coffin holding the body of 88-year-old Lois Hicks. She is then seen twisting the dead woman's finger, even tearing off some of the skin, until the ring slips off. She then walks out of the room.

The deceased's daughter Vel McKee says, "I can’t believe someone would be that low. It makes me sick to my stomach. Horrible. I hope they catch her." Surveillance cameras outside the funeral home also caught the thief's vehicle and license plate. As for the ring, the family says it was a fake worth about only $10.
