SIR ELTON JOHN IS HEADED TO YOUR TV AND POSSIBLY THEATERS
Elton John will appear as himself in an upcoming episode of the ABC country music drama “Nashville.” The "Tiny Dancer" singer will perform alongside up-and-coming singer and songwriter Gunnar (Sam Palladio) in the May 18 episode of the series.
“Nashville” has had other nationally known singers on past episodes, including Brad Paisley, Kellie Pickler, Florida Georgia Line and Sara Evans. Kesha, Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett will also appear as themselves this season.
“Nashville” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. CST on ABC.
Elton John is in talks to join the cast of “Kingsman: The Golden Circle,” Matthew Vaughn’s sequel to his 2014 action spy hit.
If a deal is made, the pop icon will join a cast that includes returning star Taron Egerton and new cast members Julianne Moore, Halle Berry and Pedro Pascal, among others.
Mark Strong is also set to return, and the production has strongly hinted that Colin Firth, who perished in the first installment, will be coming back as well.
Music producer and reality TV star David Gest has died at the age of 62. Friend Imad Handi confirmed the news, saying “David was truly larger than life. He was not just a huge talent and a dear friend but a showbiz icon.”
Police issued a statement that read, "Police were called at 10:17 on Tuesday 12 April to the Four Seasons hotel, in Westferry Circus, E14, to reports of an unexplained death of a man in his 60s.

Gest grew up with Jackson and his brothers in California, and was close friends with the family. In 2001 his television special on the 30th anniversary of the launch of Jackson's solo career was the highest rated in history.
The TV personality gained a following in the United Kingdom recently when he appeared on CBB
In January 2016, Gest was forced to quit the Channel 5 show after becoming ill.
A seasoned reality star, David came fourth on the 2006 series of I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me out of Here! on ITV and went on to land three prime time TV series after the show finished This Is David Gest, Grease is the Word and Greased Lightnin'
David said deciding to go on reality show I'm a Celeb was the best thing he ever did, as he said: "I finally realized that people liked me."
"I guess people saw the real me and realized” I wasn't just a freak in sunglasses. I get mobbed in the street by fans now. It's crazy, but I love it."
CHARLIE SHEEN: NOT PAYING CHILD SUPPORT
Charlie Sheen's ex Brooke Mueller is asking a judge to make him pay the child support he owes her.
Mueller claims Sheen still owes her $89,000 in back child support for their seven-year-old twin boys Bob and Max. Court documents show that Sheen is supposed to cough up $55,000 per month but has only paid a portion of what he owes over the past two months.
Sheen filed court documents last months insisting on having his child support payments reduced because his income had significantly dropped.
He claims he can no longer afford to pay $55,000 because he now only makes about $87,000 a month. My goodness, how is he surviving...
STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN: ICONIC SONG AT THE CENTER OF PENDING LAWSUIT
Nearly 45 years after it's release the iconic rock song "Stairway to Heaven" is at the center of a copyright infringement lawsuit. A judge ruled that there is enough evidence to proceed with the lawsuit that was filed by a trustee of the late Spirit guitarist Randy Wolfe stating that the opening riff of the Led Zepplin hit has substantial similarities to the Spirit's song "Taurus".. Here's a clip comparing the two songs.. And I gotta say, they seem VERY similar..
