KENNY ROGERS: THE GAMBLER'S LAST DEAL BEGINS MAY 13
Kenny Rogers is adding more dates his final tour.
The Gambler's Last Deal will get under way May 13th in Mahnomen, Minnesota -- and continue through at least mid-November, with a pair of shows in London, England. His publicists hint the schedule may be extended into 2017.
The concerts will include a look back through Rogers’ 50-plus-year career, with personal stories, vintage photos and video clips. In addition to his long list of hits, Rogers plans to include songs he hasn’t performed in years.
Kenny adds, "I’m excited about making one more sweep around the world. This final tour is going to be a celebration of all of my music, and I know each night will be truly special." Rogers has sold more than 120 million albums worldwide and has charted a record in each of the last seven decades.
His complete itinerary is on Kenny's website.
KEITH, VINCE: ALL FOR THE HALL RAISES BIG MONEY FOR HALL
The sixth All for the Hall concert took place last night in Nashville.
Hosts Keith Urban and Vince Gill (who was celebrating his 59th birthday) served as the back-up band for the jam-packed lineup of stars, which included Luke Bryan, Peter Frampton, Florida Georgia Line, Emmylou Harris, Sam Hunt, Jason Isbell, Chris Janson, Tracy Lawrence, Maddie and Tae and Maren Morris.
The recent passing of Merle Haggard took center stage as many of the artists chose to include one of his songs in their two performances. The show wrapped with the entire group singing Merle's "Mama Tried."
This year's All for the Hall raised over $750,000, bringing the six-year total to over $3.5 million raised for the County Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
JAKE OWEN: BOUGHT PEARL HER FIRST CAR
Jake Owen already has wheels for his three-year-old daughter Pearl. When she turns 16 and gets her driver’s license, she’s getting the Volkswagen van Jake drove to Key West to promote his single “American Country Love Song.”
But until then, it’s going the road with dad. He says, “It fits perfectly in the trailer behind my tour bus, so everywhere we go this year on tour, we're taking it with us. And I told my little girl it's going to be hers when she gets to be 16."
ASHLEY MONROE: STILL SEARCHING FOR ROSIE
Miranda Lambert is asking Nashville fans to continue to be on the lookout for Rosie, Ashley Monroe's dog -- who has been missing since last week.
The tiny pooch, whose tongue sticks out from the side of her mouth, has been sighted near Ashley's neighborhood near Nashville, but so far no one has been able to capture her.
Rosie has a collar and is microchipped. Needless to say, Ashley is devastated.
See a photo of Rosie here. Miranda is asking anyone who sees the dog to contact the MuttNation Foundation.
