TWANG TOWN LOWDOWN - THURSDAY JUNE 2ND

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris: Done!

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have broken up after more than a year of dating. Multiple sources have confirmed the split to People. An insider says, "There was no drama. Things just don't work out sometimes."

Taylor and Calvin celebrated their one-year anniversary in March with a tropical getaway.

Calvin was briefly hospitalized a car accident on May 20th and is now in Los Angeles after a trip back to the U.K.

SUMMER 2016: FULL OF ALBUMS AND TOURS

With the passing of Memorial Day Weekend comes the heat of the summer. Country fans have a lot to look forward to over the next few months, from album releases to tours and festivals.

TOP SUMMER ALBUM RELEASES

Maren Morris - Hero (Friday)
Maren co-wrote each of the 11 songs on her debut album. She says this album is the best representation of herself she could have given to her fans, channeling an eclectic mix of influences during its creation.

Dan + Shay - Obsessed (Friday)
The title of Dan + Shay's sophomore album came directly from their fans. The album features their current single, "From The Ground Up," inspired by their grandparents' love stories.

Little Big Town - Wanderlust (June 10th)
This eight-song collaboration with producer Pharrell Williams takes listeners away from the familiar country genre and propels them into a world of "fun, spontaneous music."

David Nail - Fighter (July 15th)
David's fourth studio album happened by accident, as he wasn't planning on releasing an album so soon.

Jake Owen - American Love (July 29th)

Jake co-produced eight of the 11 songs on his fifth studio album, which also features background vocals from Chris Stapleton.

The Cadillac Three - Bury Me In My Boots (August 5th)
Fans have been waiting for more than four years for The Cadillac Three to release their sophomore album. The band announced last week that their wait is finally over.

Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will be back as the hosts of the CMA Awards.

Brad announced on Twitter, "Last year they let me pull my pants down on national TV, wonder what they will let me do this year, Carrie Underwood?" Of course, he's referring to the moment in the opening monologue when he teased that he was going to take a naked hostselfie.

This will be the ninth year that Brad and Carrie have hosted the show. The 50th CMA Awards will air on November 2nd live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on ABC.
