MIRANDA LAMBERT: Rescued Dogs Up for Adoption at CMA Music Festival
Miranda Lambert's MuttNation will bring 50 chihuahuas and chihuahua mixes to the CMA Music Festival for adoption this week.
The pups were rescued from a hoarding situation in Oklahoma and treated at her Redemption Ranch before making their way to Nashville. Miranda says, "We’re just going to try and bring awareness and get these dogs adopted. Luckily they are chihuahuas and everybody wants a cute little dog. I’m really glad that they caught them in time. It’s so sad. You see little dogs that have never had any love or care, and you think, ‘Oh my God, is there 50 loving homes out there for these babies?’”
Fans heading to Nashville from afar can still adopt the dogs MuttNation will hold them until they are ready to make their way back home.
