TWANG TOWN LOWDOWN - FRIDAY JUNE 10TH

STEVEN TYLER: Country Album Due Next Month

Steven Tyler's long-awaited country album is almost here. We're All Somebody From Somewhere will be released on July 15th.

He says, “Country music is the new rock and roll. It’s not just about porches, dogs and kicking your boots up. It's a whole lot more. It's about being real. And nothing is more real than understanding we're all just somebody from somewhere.”

On Saturday, he'll perform at the CMA Music Festival. He'll also perform on NBC’s Today show summer concert series on June 24th, before he hits the road for his Out on a Limb tour on July 2nd.

ASHLEY MONROE: Has a New Love

Miranda Lambert's MuttNation Foundation has come to the rescue by finding a new best friend for her pal Ashley Monroe, who lost her beloved chihuahua Rosie a few weeks ago.

Though the search is still on for Rosie, Ashley has fallen for Betty Annie -- also a chihuahua. She posted on Instagram, "One angel lost, one angel rescued. Meet Betty Annie Monroe Danks."

TRACE, KRIS: Star in New Western

Trace Adkins and Kris Kristofferson star in the new movie Traded. It's the story of a father who leaves his ranch to find her kidnapped daughter. And from the looks of it our buddy Trace is playing a bad guy!

The film hits theaters, on demand and digital HD today!

CHRIS YOUNG: Not Going Into the Wine Business Anytime Soon

Chris Young admitted he’s become a major snob about his wine. But don’t expect him to get into the wine business anytime soon.

Chris has seen how much work Kix Brooks put into Arrington Vineyards and believes launching a new wine or liquor business wouldn’t be the best move right now.
